Fed: One Nation starts campaign replacing slashed banners
Large campaign signs for One Nation's last man standing in federal politics, LEN HARRIS,
have been slashed and damaged on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.
Senator HARRIS has erected replacement signs after two seven-metre by three-metre banners
-- on private property at Maroochydore -- were slashed from their poles and stolen on
Saturday night.
The Queensland senator's challenged those responsible to come forward and debate him
over the messages on the signs, which advertised his party's opposition to the sale of
Telstra and its support of Australian-grown apples.
One Nation's Sunshine Coast campaign director PETER WISE says despite the vandalism,
the party's travelling well in the area.
